Developing the Types of Exercise to Improve the Agility of Wheelchair Badminton Athletes

This study aims to produce a developing product of exercise types improve the agility disabled badminton athletes. research and development is conducted by adapting steps as follows: (1) preliminary studies, (2) initial draft design, (3) validation revision, (4) small-scale trials revisions, (5) large-scale (6) final products, (7) effectiveness tests. Small-scale were at NPC Bantul, in Yogyakarta Special Region. The test was data collection instruments used were: interview guideline, questionnaires, form performance zig-zag run modification instrument. Data analyzed quantitative descriptive on assessment scale, t-test qualitative input results. results showed that: Types wheelchair athletes with stages starting from: (a) (b) products; expert (materials media) (c) trials; trials/ revisions and, (d) this book entitled “Types Agility Exercises for Wheelchair Badminton Athletes”. produces ten exercises based material 81% very good/ feasible category media 80%, category. effective p value < 0.05 an increase 8.73%.
